Lawrence Power
Lawrence Power is International Professor of Viola at the Züricher Hochschule der Künste and founder and Artistic Director of the West Wycombe Chamber Music Festival.
He performs regularly with symphony orchestras across Europe and last year completed a tour of the United States with pianist Simon Crawford-Phillips. Lawrence enjoys a close relationship with the London Philharmonic Orchestra with whom he gave the world premiere of James MacMillan’s Viola Concerto. He regularly collaborates with Maxim Vengerov and recently performed with him at the Barbican Centre in London.
